May 7, 2020 - Today we celebrate PROBA-V’s seventh birthday.
ESA's small satellite was launched on the night of May 6-7, 2013 from Kourou, French Guyana to serve the global land surface community with high-quality vegetation observations.

On 30 June 2020, PROBA-V will perform its last operational observations and enter an experimental phase until October 30, 2021. Click here to find out more about the operational and experimental actions still to come.
